
Pavan Sharma
CEOPavan Sharma is a Valuation, Business Advisory, Entry-India, Startup and Structuring specialist. In 2010 he co-founded BCL India, which today is a 300+ member team operating across India and the UAE. He is passionate about education and runs MFK Foundation, a not-for-profit that aims to up-skill students of commerce in Karnataka. Pavan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2011, securing All India Rank 3 in CA Final, AIR 30 in CA Intermediate and AIR 7 in CA Foundation/CPT, and was awarded the Shri Rangachary Silver Medal and the Kerala Verma Memorial Prize. He also completed the IIM Bangalore programme on ESG Reporting & Communication. He advises the boards of marquee startups and private companies, and works with leading funds, accelerators and incubators including Axilor, Ideaspring Capital, Amrita TBI, Specialie Invest and SEA Fund. He has briefed the MoS, Home Ministry, Government of India on the COVID crisis and recovery, was invited to Beijing by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, and has appeared as a panelist on TV9, News9 and Intuit QuickBooks’ Future of Accounting, on Startup India and PayU webinars, and on RedFM. He has conducted 150+ workshops, is a guest lecturer at colleges and professional bodies such as ICAI and ICSI, authored “Relearning the Learning Curve” in the ICAI Student Journal, and writes for BCL India, Intuit QuickBooks, GreytHR and Startup India.
